MEET OUR TEAM

Ashlee Gilbert was raised in the Auburn, Kentucky area and is a graduate of Russellville High School, where she finished as Valedictorian in 2018. She went on to attend Western Kentucky University as a member of the Mahurin Honors College, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology in December 2021. Ashlee graduated summa cum laude and was recognized as Scholar of the College and Outstanding Criminology Major, distinctions awarded to students with exceptional academic achievements and dedication to their field.

Ashlee continued her education at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where she distinguished herself in advocacy and academics. She earned the CALI Award for academic excellence in Capital Punishment and served on both the Moot Court National Team and the Trial Advocacy Board National Team, where she competed across the country against other law students. In recognition of her outstanding oral advocacy skills, she was inducted into the National Order of Barristers, an honor reserved for students who demonstrate exemplary courtroom and appellate advocacy. Ashlee graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor in May 2025 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association that same year.

Before joining the firm as an attorney, Ashlee worked as a law clerk at Broderick & Davenport during the summers of 2023 and 2024, where she gained hands-on experience across multiple practice areas and developed meaningful relationships with the firm’s clients.

Outside of the office, Ashlee enjoys staying active at Orangetheory Fitness, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her Australian Shepherd, Baxter.
